“ I decided to go outside of the box on a recent trip to Ada. After looking at reviews on yelp, I choose the New China Restaurant. Don't let the paper sign and decrepit storefront fool you, this food is fresh and delicious!!! Not your typical "boxed" Chinese food. Five big stars. ”
“ This restaurant has been in Findlay for many, many years. The food is wonderful, the service is always friendly. Their chicken chop suey is amazing. The restaurant isn't super easy to find and as I've seen in other reviews it doesn't look like much but it is clean with a very nice, comfortable atmosphere. If you're in Findlay, Ohio and are looking for some good food fast and at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. They even have carry-out if you don't want to sit down. Take your family and/or some friends. There's always a smile waiting just inside the door. Enjoy ”
“ This is not authentic Vietnamese! I lived in Ho Chi Minh City for thirty-seven days and I can tell you NO ONE puts soy sauce in their nem cuon. Five negative stars ”
“ It doesn't look like much, but don't let that deter you. My kids and I stopped at New China on the last leg of a return trip from Chicago. My youngest was craving Chinese, and while this was 4 miles off our route, it was the closest Chinese restaurant to us, so we gave it a go. We were SO glad that we did! The owner is charming and VERY accommodating. She chatted with my young sons and made sure that they'd get food that they enjoyed. My youngest had wonton soup, my oldest ordered vegetable soup, and they split an order of chicken fried rice. I asked her which shrimp dish was her favorite, and she told me she loved them all, so in the end I chose the Kung Bao. It was a very good choice! The soups were fresh and hot with big chunks of fresh veggies and wontons that were obviously freshly made. Both the fried rice and Kung Bao shrimp arrived in heaping portions. The Kung Bao was easily the best I've ever had anywhere -- the shrimp were large, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were cut larger than in most Kung Bao preparations, they were very clearly fresh, and they were cooked to just tender-crisp. The sauce was pleasantly spicy and not too oily. In short, perfect! With the heaping portions, we all had full tummies and STILL had extra to take home. The price? Around $25 for everything -- a seriously great deal. We'll be adding this hidden gem to all our future trips to Chicago. It's very well worth the detour. ”
“ After calling them late not realizing they had closed at 9pm the lady on the phone still took my order and took 20 minutes to cook it for me and wait for me to get there to pick it up. No where else would you get service like that. The food tasted great will go back again, this time during their operating hours lol. ”
